Staying safe on Amigify
- Keep conversations in the app. Everything we can do to protect you — blocking, reporting, moderation — stops working the moment a conversation moves to another platform.
- Never send money. No companion will ever ask you to transfer money, buy a gift card, or pay outside the app. If one does, report it.
- Share only what you want to. A nickname is enough. You are never required to give your real name, workplace, address or photos.
- Block first, explain later. Blocking is instant and you do not owe anyone a reason.
What our moderation team does
Reports go to a person, not a queue that empties itself. A moderator reviews the reported conversation, and can warn, suspend or permanently remove an account. Where there is a credible threat to life we will cooperate with law enforcement. The standards we apply are set out in our community guidelines.
